Attendees have a discussion in front of a poster display

The Allen D. Leman Swine Conference delivers science-based solutions to the complex challenges facing the swine industry. We are now accepting abstract submissions. All abstracts are reviewed blindly and will be considered for poster presentations. A subset of abstracts will be selected for oral presentation as part of the Research Highlights session Sunday afternoon.

Deadline for submission is Friday, July 10, 2026. Note: this deadline is final.

Abstract Requirements:

  • Five hundred (500) words or less. Citations are not included in the 500-word limit and should be listed at the end of the abstract.
  • Abstracts must include the following information: Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
  • Charts and graphs are encouraged on posters, however do not include them in your abstract.
  • Only up-to-date developments and new research will be accepted.
  • The presenting author must register for the conference.
  • All submissions will be reviewed and judged blindly based on scientific merit.
  • Authors will be notified of the committee's selection for poster or selected oral presentation by July 30, 2026. Presenting authors are required to register by August 10, 2026.

Posters will be presented at the Opening Reception Sunday evening, September 20, 2026 and remain available during the main conference, September 21-22, 2026.
